FedEx® chooses Power Products, Inc. for critical facilities!

Power Products, Inc. has been selected to provide “Turn Key” services to design, engineer, furnish and install Eaton® temporary generator connection devices for FedEx Corporation® at 15 FedEx® Ground sites located in 14 States. All installations will be local, State, and Federal code compliant and will provide for the swift and safe connection of temporary generators in times of power outages or natural disasters.

These sites will also now meet the new Article 708.20.F.6 of the 2008 National Electrical Code (NEC) dealing with “Critical Operation Power Systems” (COPS). This code article was written at the request of the US Department of Homeland Security to provide operational continuity for critical infrastructure facilities required to operate continuously during National disasters.

FedEx® has taken this action to protect the continuity and integrity of their services to their millions of clients Worldwide who depend on their always reliable on time service. Some sites are already completed and all will be ready for the high risk summer storm and hurricane season.
